HTC One M8 EYE with 13MP rear camera goes official in China

HTC unveiled the Desire EYE at the Double Exposure event in New York earlier this week, but it did not announce the One M8 EYE that was leaked recently. Now  the smartphone has gone official in China on the official website. Specifications of the smartphone are similar to the HTC One M8, but this has a 13-megapixel rear camera instead of the Ultrapixel camera, similar to the Butterfly 2. It has the same 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the One M8.

The HTC One M8 EYE comes in Gunmetal Gray and Glacial Silver colors and is priced at 3999 Yuan (Rs. 39900 approx.). It is available for pre-order in China and is would go on sale in the country on October 15th. No word on the global roll out yet.
