LG has announced that the G Watch R, the company’s first smartwatch with a circular display would go on sale in Korea starting October 14th. It was unveiled ahead of IFA and has a 1.3-inch (320 x 320 pixels) P-OLED Display, powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and is based on Android Wear platform. Today both Amazon.in and Flipkart have confirmed that the the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus would be available for pre-order starting 12 noon today. GT Advanced Technologies, a company that specializes in supplying engineered sapphire glass has just filed for bankruptcy. The company had entered into a contract with Apple last year to supply sapphire crystal glass for upcoming products.
While it was speculated that Apple would be using sapphire glass on the iPhone 6, it instead opted to use its own version of reinforced glass instead.
