Google has forced Amazon to taken down its shopping app that contained a functional app store. The app has now been replaced by Amazon Shopping app that is the same but without the app store link.

Qualcomm has added LTE Category 9 network support to its upcoming Snapdragon 810 processor. The Snapdragon 810 processor with integrated LTE-Advanced modem can handle download speeds of up to 450 Mbps over three 20MHz LTE carriers.

Micromax announced last month that it will launch YU branded smartphones with CyanogenMod OS in December. The company has started sending invites for the launch event scheduled for 18th December. Oppo introduced the Oppo R5 with a stainless steel body, micro-arc frame that is just 4.85mm thick at an event in Singapore back in September. The company just announced that it will hit the stores this month and is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000. The Oppo R5 has a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Color OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

HTC introduced the HTC RE, a GoPro-like action camera at the Double Exposure event in the US back in October. It was launched in India few days after the US event at a price tag of Rs. 9,990. At the launch HTC said that it would be available in India early November, but the product finally went on sale in India earlier this week on Snapdeal.
