It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Vibe UI on top. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support as well. Apple to increase UK and Europe app prices
Prices for content and applications in Apple’s App Store in the UK and Europe are to rise this week as Apple compensates for currency fluctuations and changes in taxation rates. Samsung expects 37% decrease in profits for Q4, 2014
Samsung revealed its preliminary earnings guidance that it is expecting 37% decrease in profits for the Q4, 2014. The company stated that operating profit for the October-December period was estimated at 5.2 trillion won (USD 4.7 billion), down 37.4 per cent from the fourth quarter of 2013.

Asus has announced Fonepad 7 (FE171CG), a refreshed variant of last year’s Fonepad 7 at the CES this year. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, similar to the Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG that was launched in India last year, but this runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, comes with a 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel rear camera, 1GB or 2GB RAM depending on the region.
