Intex Aqua X15, the company’s latest entry-level smartphone in the Aqua series and the Aqua Q3, a budget smartphone are now on sale online. The Aqua X15 that is available from eBay packs a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The Aqua Q3 that is available from Indiatimes shopping has a 4.5-inch WVGA display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). iBall Slide Brace X1 with 10.1-inch display, Octa-Core SoC, Xotic smartphone with 2GB RAM launching soon

iBall is all set to launch Slide Brace X1, the company’s new tablet in the Slide series and Xotic smartphone soon. The iBall Slide Brace X1 has appeared on the official website and the iBall Xotic smartphone has been revealed by Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. The Slide Brace X1 has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display, similar to the Slide 3G Q1035 that was launched back in December last year, but this is powered by an Octa-Core processor, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) and comes with dual chambered speakers that promises load and clear sound. OnePlus One available in India without an invite on Feb 10

OnePlus and Amazon have announced the first-ever open sale of OnePlus One smartphone in India only for one day on February 10th. Even though OnePlus introduced pre-order system back in October and had conducted several open sales since then, OnePlus has finally decided to introduce the system in India to celebrate the successful completion of 10 weeks of OnePlus in India. It was launched in India on December 2nd for Rs. 21,999 and it requires India-specific invite to purchase the smartphone on Amazon.in. HTC records profits for third quarter in succession

Micromax appoints Shubhajit Sen as CMO

Micromax has announced that it has appointed Shubhajit Sen as its Chief Marketing Officer. He will replace Shubhodip Pal who was the company’s CMO since December 2012. Shubhajit Sen previously served as Executive Vice President – Marketing of Glaxo Smith Kline Consumer Health Limited for 21 years. He is an Economics graduate from SRCC, Delhi University and an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad. He will focus on leading all marketing efforts for the company across markets while strengthening the overall brand communication, said Micromax.
