NVIDIA today announced the rollout of SHIELD Software Experience Upgrade 7.1 bringing a host of new features, improvements and the return of one community favorite. It brings new in-game voice chat support for communicating in top titles like Fortnite and PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS. You can now connect a headset and mic to the SHIELD controller 3.5mm jack. Second generation Nvidia Shield tablet with Tegra X1 coming in March: Report

It looks like Nvidia is working on a successor for the Shield tablet. As per a latest report, the tablet will come equipped with Tegra X1 chipset that is the successor to the Tegra K1.

NVIDIA Shield tablet with Tegra K1 goes official, starts at $299

After months of leaks and reports, NVIDIA has finally launched its Shield tablet which is specifically aimed at gamers. Powered with Tegra K1 quad core processor, the tablet sports 8 inch Full HD display can support full 1080p high-definition or 4K UltraHD games. It has 2GB of RAM, 5MP front and rear cameras, a 10 hour battery, and support for pressure-sensitive input with NVIDIA’s DirectStylus 2 device.

NVIDIA Shield tablet and wireless controller leaked, expected to launch on July 29th for $299

Last week press image of the NVIDIA Shield tablet showed us a glimpse of how the tablet will look from the front. Soon after that a new leak along with some images has provided more details about the specification of not only the tablet but also about the wireless controller. According to a number of promotional images, obtained by the website Videocardz, the Shield tablet is expected to be available for purchase on July 29.
