Earlier today, we reported that Sony was having trouble supplying its sensors to the Chinese manufacturers due to high demand from Apple for their iPhone 6C. Apparently Chinese manufacturers aren’t the only ones affected as even Samsung has been forced to use its own sensors in place of Sony ones. This has been witnessed on the newer units of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Apple Watch Unboxing and First Impressions

Apple unveiled the Apple Watch, the company’s first wearable back in September last year. It went on Pre-order from April 10 in 9 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US. It started shipping for customers recently. Oppo users will get update to Android Lollipop 5.0 soon
Oppo is one of the few Chinese manufacturers that still haven’t gotten the update to Lollipop on their phones. While smaller Chinese brands have already received updates to Lollipop, Oppo is only now receiving the update along with the release of ColorOS 2.1.

Lenovo A5000 and P70 officially launched in India for Rs. 9999 and Rs. 15999

Lenovo A5000 and P70 smartphones that went on sale in India recently have been officially launched in the country. Both the A5000 and P70 have a a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, run on Android 4.4 (KitKat) and have a 4000mAh battery. The A5000 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, while the P70 is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 Processor processor and comes with 4G LTE connectivity.

Gionee Elife E8 with 6-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, 3GB RAM gets certified in China

Gionee Elife E8 (GN9008), the company’s upcoming E series flagship has been certified in China on TENAA. The company already confirmed that the it will launch the camera-centric Elife E8 later this year during the launch of its Elife S7 smartphone in India in April. According to the listing, the smartphone will feature a 6-inch Quad HD AMOLED screen, will be powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core processor, 3GB RAM, Android 5.0 OS with Amigo UI on top and 4G support.
