At an event in China, vivo today introduced new new achievements in its mobile phone imaging technology such as ultra-high transparent glass lenses, new coating technology, and Zeiss natural colours. Through comprehensive collaboration with Zeiss in imaging chips, optics, and software algorithms, vivo said that the technology has greatly improved the night shooting experience, reduced glare and ghosting, and has continuously improved professional portraits and colours. vivo confirms X70 series will feature self-developed V1 imaging chip, launch in September; vivo tablet coming in H1 2022

After recent rumours, vivo’s executive vice president, Hu Baishan in an interview with the media today confirmed that the company will use the first self-developed V1 image chip in the vivo X70 series. The new smartphone series will be introduced in September, as rumoured earlier. vivo confirms Android 11 Funtouch OS 11 update for range of smartphones in India

vivo launched its V20 smartphone in India back in October last year running Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11. The vivo X50 Pro and the V20 Pro smartphones got the update in India last month. Now it has confirmed that the beta update will roll out for its older phones in India starting this January. vivo V1 with 6.7mm slim frame, 4G LTE now available in India for Rs. 16000

vivo announced V1, a new smartphone in India earlier this month, now the smartphone is on sale in India. It has a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC and runs on Funtouch OS 2.1 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 6.78mm slim frame and has magnesium alloy body, according to the company. It has dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity with support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India.

Vivo announces new V1 and V1 Max smartphones in India

Chinese manufacturer Vivo has introduced a new ‘V’ series of smartphones in India. The company announced two smartphones – Vivo V1 and Vivo V1 Max – on Tuesday saying that these will be priced between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000, and will hit stores later this month.
