The Safety Center is essentially a hub that comprises of it tools and policies to ensure the protection of its users, especially for teens, parents, and educators. It includes guides and links to previously announced features, such as making it easier to file police reports on threatening users. The micro blogging site says that Safety Center is a tool where anyone can learn about online safety regardless of them being on Twitter or not.

“These resources should help you quickly understand how to manage your experience on Twitter and also understand how the community and Twitter take action together when our policies are violated.”
said Twitter in a company blog.

Twitter said that it will translate the content on its Safety Center into “some of the most-used languages” on the site. The company is striving hard to make its platform more secure and curb online abuse and harassment. Last month it added a new tool to share block lists and prior to that the company introduced new policies to control cyberbullying and abuse threats.
