Microsoft has pushed out new updates for both the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 devices that includes Microsoft and Intel driver and firmware updates. This update fixes power management issues that caused these devices not to go to sleep when idle or consume more power during sleep. LG G5 will be powered by Snapdragon 820, confirms Qualcomm
After several rumors, Qualcomm today confirmed that the upcoming flagship LG G5 smartphone that will be unveiled at the MWC 2016 on Sunday will be powered by its latest high-end Snapdragon 820 processor. The Snapdragon 820 uses custom 64-bit CPU architecture in ARMv8-based Qualcomm Kryo CPU and is based on FinFET process. It has Adreno 530 GPU, X12 LTE modem, Snapdragon Smart protect, SafeSwitch kill switch solution, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and more unique features.

Canonical has partnered with Meizu to introduce Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition, ahead of MWC 2016 next week. “This is the fifth Ubuntu device launched by Canonical and its partners in the last twelve months and the most sophisticated and feature-rich Ubuntu phone in the market,” said Canonical. It has similar specifications as the original Meizu PRO 5 that was introduced last year, but this comes only in 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant.
