Indian smartphone maker Ringing Bells today launched Freedom 251, India’s cheapest smartphone for Rs. 251, as it had promised yesterday.

Samsung announced Exynos 7 Octa 7870 processor based on 14-nanometer (nm) FinFET process technology for next-generation mid-range smartphones. It also has built-in LTE Cat.6 modem that would offer download speed of 300Mbps and FDD-TDD joint carrier aggregation.

Uber signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Maharashtra through the Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department (SDED) to create 75,000 jobs in the state.

Apple has withdrawn iPhone 4s and 5c smartphones from India, as it bows out of the sub Rs. 20,000 smartphone segment in the country to bolster its falling average selling price (ASP).

Listing on Dubizzle, which is Dubai’s version of Craigslist revealed the Galaxy S7 edge’s box contents.
