Lenovo A6000 Review

Of late, Lenovo as a smartphone brand is getting a lot of eye balls and one of the primary reasons for that is the way they have been aggressively pricing their latest products. The Chinese maker has managed to disrupt the market with A6000 – one of the most affordable 4G LTE offerings in the mid-range market.

Lenovo A6000 with 4G capabilities in its armoury makes its competition look a bit overpriced and also underequipped. “Light” Expected to Bring 52 Megapixel Cameras to Smartphones Soon

A silicon valley start-up called light is planning to introduce 52 Megapixel camera modules for smartphones soon. The company plans on doing it by building camera modules with multiple lenses and sensors for smartphones just as shown in the photo above.

OnePlus launched its 10,000mAh OnePlus Power Bank back in December last year and it went on sale in the U.S. though the official online store last month. OnePlus already said that the power bank will launch in India in April and they were are working on logistics process. Today, OnePlus India Head Vikas Agarwal on the OnePlus forum said that the OnePlus Power Bank will be available in India in the last week of April on Amazon. Sony XPERIA Z Fourth Generation Images Leaked

New photos have surfaced of a handset that could very well be the Sony XPERIA Z4 as it looks very similar to what we’ve seen in the past photos rumoured to be that of the Z4. In the images, Sony has referred to the phone as XPERIA Z Fourth Generation. We are not sure if this means that Sony is planning to change it’s naming scheme. Perhaps instead of having Z2, Z3, Z4 etc they will name their handsets XPERIA Z Generation 4, 5 etc. Perhaps it is to make things simpler as they plan on releasing just one flagship phone per year compared to their previous cycle of two phones per year.

WhatsApp hits 800 million active users

WhatsApp continues to increase its active user base. It reached 700 million monthly active users back in January earlier this year. Today the company’s CEO and founder Jan Koum revealed that WhatsApp now has 800 million monthly active users worldwide, adding 100 million users in just 3 months, faster than last time. It took 4 months to reach 700 million active users from 600 million.
