Sharp has introduced its new 5.5-inch Ultra HD 4K IGZO LCD panel with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and a pixel density of 806ppi at the China Information Technology Expo 2015 in Shenzhen last week. The panel has a display area of 121 × 68 mm.This is bigger and sharper compared to 4.1” IGZO LCD display with 736 ppi that was introduced by the company last year. YU YUREKA’s upcoming major Cyanogen OS 12 update based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) has been submitted to Google for certification, said Rahul Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of YU. The company already promised Android Lollipop for the YUREKA smartphone during its launch last December. YU started beta testing its Cyanogen OS 12 ROM recently though it forum. It also plans to launch YU YUPHORIA smartphone based on Cyanogen OS 12 this quarter.
Zomato has raised Rs 155 Cr ($55M) in latest round of funding from InfoEdge. The latest funding has raised the valuation of the company to $660 Million.

Sony has announced that It has started rolling out Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update (v23.1.A.0.690) for Xperia Z3 Dual, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra smartphones. It rolled out Lollipop update for Sony Xperia Z2 and Z2 Tablet last week. It already promised to update Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra smartphones. Today the company has launched Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G that is powered by a faster 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor.
