After rolling out Android Pie update for the Nokia 3 smartphone earlier this month, HMD Global has started rolling out the update for Nokia 1 as it had promised. The phone was introduced back in March last year running Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition, and this is one of the few Go Edition phones to get Android Pie since most phones like Lava Z50 and Redmi Go are still running Android Oreo since the launch.

It was announced back in February and packs a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED WQXGA screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 670 SoC and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). It has quad-speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN, similar to the Tab S, but it doesn’t have an S Pen or Iris scanner. Samsung and Xiaomi’s Redmi are said to be working on a new smartphone with 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. Today Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company will be introducing world’s first smartphone camera with 64MP GW1 largest 1/1.72″ sensor and 1.6µm pixel.
