iQOO just launched the the iQOO 7 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in India as it had promised. It packs a 6.62-inch Full HD+ 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen with 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1000Hz instant touch sampling rate, 5.8ms touch response, peak brightness 1,300 nits, support for HDR10+, built-in intelligent display chip for MEMC, DC dimming and 91.45% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 870 with support for 5G SA / NSA, liquid cooling system and 6000mm² graphite board that reduces the temperature by up to 11%. WhatsApp testing 24 hour option for Disappearing Messages feature

Last year in November, WhatsApp introduced a new feature in their chats called Disappearing Messages, where messages in group chats and individual chats would automatically be deleted after 7 days. WhatsApp is now reportedly working on expanding the feature to include a 24 hour option as well.

Microsoft expands list of Xbox Series S and Series X games that support FPS Boost at up to 120Hz

When Microsoft announced the Xbox Series X and Series S console, one of the features that they highlighted was support for gaming at up to 120Hz. However, at launch, the list of games that actually supported up to 120Hz was very few. Now, through the FPS Boost feature, Microsoft has added support for 120Hz gaming on 13 Electronic Arts titles, which will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members via EA Play.

Facebook to begin collecting more specific feedback about News Feed content

Around two years ago, Facebook began asking their users directly for feedback about the content that they see on their News Feed. This allowed Facebook to understand and improve what type of content should show on a user’s News Feed. The company is now taking it a step further and asking specific details in these surveys such as how inspirational was the post, or if a certain topic does not interest that particular user at all.

Xiaomi just launched the Mi 11 Ultra, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India as it had promised. It has a 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED quad curved DotDisplay with peak brightness of 1,700 nits, 120Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate of 480Hz and MEMC motion compensation. In addition to HDR 10+, it also has Dolby Vision support. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus that offers better scratch and drop resistance. OPPO A53s 5G with Dimensity 700 launching in India on April 27 priced under Rs. 15,000

OPPO today announced that it will launch A53s 5G, the company’s new budget 5G smartphone in India on April 27th. This will be priced under Rs. 15,000, cheaper than the A74 5G which was launched in India earlier this week priced at Rs. 17990. The company has also confirmed that it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, which made it debut in India with the realme 8 5G yesterday. Redmi Note 10 Pro Review: Great Value for what you pay

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 Pro series smartphone in India last month as the successor to last year’s Redmi Note 9 Pro series that was launched last year. The main difference between the Note 9 Pro and the Pro Max were cameras and support for faster charger in the Max version. However, this time the company has offered 33W fast charging in both the versions, so the only difference is the 64MP primary rear camera in the Note 10 Pro instead of 108MP camera in the Note 10 Pro Max.
