POCO just announced POCO F2 Pro, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at a global online event as it has promised. It packs a 6.67-inch E3 Super AMOLED screen with 92.7% screen-to-body ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.  The company says it has 360° ambient light control with 3 sensors. It is powered by Snapdragon 865, 5G SA/NSA support with Snapdragon X55 Modem, has 3435mm² VC liquid-cooled heat sink, Game Turbo 3.0, 4D vibration when playing games with Z-axis motor and has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for high-performance gaming. It runs Android 10 with MIUI 11, comes with 3D glass back with AG technology, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and Anti-glare matte finish in grey and purple color versions, NFC and Hi-Res audio support. Samsung Finance+ now lets you purchase Galaxy smartphones with easy finance staying at home

Security flaw “Thunderspy” affecting thunderbolt devices discovered

A researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology has discovered 7 new vulnerabilities in Intel’s Thunderbolt technology that enables attackers to access a system’s data even if it is encrypted or if the device is locked. The security flaws have been acknowledged by Intel, who has already released patches via OS updates to prevent exploitation via this flaw.

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand just launched the HONOR 9X Pro smartphone in India, as it had promised. It was introduced in China back in June last year, packs a 6.59-inch FHD+ no-notch LCD screen, is powered by Kirin 810 7nm SoC with GPU Turbo 9.0, 6GB RAM, NINE liquid cooling that can bring down the temperature by up to 5°C, run runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMIUI 9.1, but with HUAWEI Mobile Services (HMS), HUAWEI AppGallery app store instead of Google Play Services and Play Store. The company said it has several partnerships to bring range of apps, and is also working to bring Netflix and other streaming apps.
