Telegram update v7.4.0 adds ability to import WhatsApp chats, improved chat deletion controls and more

Telegram has released a new update to their Android and iOS apps, bringing the version to 7.4.0. In the update, Telegram is adding the ability to import chats from a few other messaging apps, more chat deletion options, a few improvements to voice chats and some new app animations on Android.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 5G with FHD+ AMOLED Infinity-O display, quad rear cameras surface in press renders

After the CAD renders of the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 5G last month, now the press renders of the smartphones have surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. This shows a punch-hole display for both the smartphones and a rectangular rear camera housing with a quad camera setup in the Galaxy A52 5G. Based on earlier renders the Galaxy A72 5G is also expected to feature a similar quad camera setup but the position of the fourth camera and the LED flash are expected to be interchanged. After renders of Sony Xperia 10 III and upcoming Xperia Compact that surfaced recently, now the renders of the upcoming Xperia 1 III flagship phone has surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This reveals that the phone will stick to 6.5-inch 21:9 CinemaWide 4K HDR display, which is same as the predecessor, but the bezels on the front have been reduced. Samsung’s 2020 profits up 29.6% YoY, mobile profits up 23.7% YoY; new Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip models confirmed for 2021

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q4 2020 and the whole of 2020 that ended December 31, 2020. In Q4 2020 the company has made an operating profit of 9.05 trillion won, up 26.39% YoY. This is due to strong display and memory chip businesses, but fell 26.7% compared to Q3 2020 due to weaker memory prices and sluggish consumer products sales, as well as higher marketing costs and negative impact from the Korean won’s appreciation.
