Xiaomi confirms Redmi Note 8 (2021) will be introduced soon

Update: Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch Redmi Note 8 (2021) for global markets soon. The new teaser shows a waterdrop notch, same as the Note 9. It also said that the global Redmi Note 8 sales have crossed 25 million. Last year in May the company said that the combined sales of Redmi Note 8 series were 30 million. Google Pixel 6 with 6.4-inch AMOLED display, dual rear cameras surface in more renders

Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro surfaced in renders last week, thanks to leaker, Jon Prosser. It didn’t reveal the complete design of the phones. After the Pixel 6 Pro, detailed CAD-based renders of the Pixel 6 have surfaced, thanks to OnLeaks. This shows the chin below the display, and the phone is said to feature a 6.4-inch flat AMOLED screen, compared to 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen in the Pro version. It has minimal bezels and an in-display fingerprint scanner and the image shows centre punch-hole that was had seen in earlier renders. It has a 1.28-inch color touch display, 24 x 7 heart rate tracking, Blood oxygen (SpO2) monitor, stress monitor, guided breathing, 14 sports modes, auto sports recognition that can track walking and running, Google Fit sync, 5ATM water resistance and a 320mAh battery with up to 7days battery life. Xiaomi opened crowdfunding for its new Mi Boost Pro Power Bank 30000mAh power bank in India back in March and started shipping them to backers earlier this month. It has DeepX 2.0 and DEEP-HD Ultra-Clear Audio Engine that has three parts, QHS high-bandwidth technology that modifies the Bluetooth protocol, and specifically optimizes the modulation method and packet loss information integration method in the transmission process, so the Bluetooth transmission bandwidth is doubled, from 3Mbps to 6Mbps. OnePlus India extends warranty of its products that are expiring during the lockdown to June 30

OnePlus India today announced that it is extending the warranty for its products to 30th June 2021 for those with an expiry date between 1st April and 29th June 2021. This comes after POCO, Xiaomi, OPPO and Sony announced that they are extending the warranty of their products. This is not the first time OnePlus is extending the warranty of its products. realme India confirms global launch of TechLife brand that starts with ‘D’ on May 25

Government of India directs WhatsApp to withdraw new TOS and privacy policy

WhatsApp’s deadline for accepting their new Terms of Service (TOS) and Privacy Policy was 5 days ago on the May 15th. Now, the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has sent a letter to the Facebook-owned company to withdraw the update within 7 days, and failure to do so will prompt lawful measures.
