POCO appoints Himanshu Tandon as India Head; confirms new ‘F series’ phone launch

After announcing that Anuj Sharma has moved from POCO back to Xiaomi as the Chief Marketing Officer, last week, POCO today announced that it has appointed Himanshu Tandon as its India head. The company said that he has been a part of the founding team of POCO in India and has helped scale the brand over the years. Before joining Poco, he was a senior manager-regional business manager and corporate strategy at Videocon Mobiles. POCO F4 GT with 6.67″ FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, up to 12GB RAM, gaming triggers announced

POCO just announced the POCO F4 GT, the company’s latest gaming smartphone in a global event, as it had promised. It has similar internals as the Redmi K50 gaming edition that was introduced in China back in February, but has a different design. It packs a 6.67-inch FHD+ flexible OLED 10-bit display with 120Hz high refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 1,920Hz PWM color adjustment, TrueColor and MEMC technology. POCO F4 GT with 6.67″ FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 to be announced on April 26

POCO is all set to launch the F4 GT, the company’s new gaming phone and the successor to the F3 GT globally in an online event on April 26th. This should be the rebranded version of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition that was introduced in China in February, but it should come in different colours while retaining the specifications.
