Apple has named the best iOS apps and games for 2015. This list might vary depending on the country. In the US, Periscope won the best app of the year and Lara Croft Go won the best game of the year. In India, Enlight, stock-trading app is the best app of the year, Periscope is the second runner up and Pacemaker DJ app is the second runner-up. OnePlus just announced that it will hold the first open sale for the OnePlus X smartphone in India on December 10th, as it promised at the launch event back in October. Facebook has updated its Android app with new Security Checkup tool that lets you review and add more security to your account. The Facebook Security Checkup tool was introduced for the web in testing back in May and it was expanded worldwide in July. This toll will be available for the iOS app soon, says Facebook. Motorola confirmed Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for range of smartphones back in October. At that time it did not include Moto E series and first generation Moto X and Moto G phones, but it had said it might add more devices in the future. Now the company has announced add the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G in the list and said that it will get the Marshmallow update in Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia, excluding China. Apple has released iOS 9.2 update for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, few week after releasing iOS 9.1 update that brought over 150 new emojis. The iOS 9.2 update brings Apple Music improvements, new Top Stories section in News, Mail Drop in Mail for sending large attachments, new feature in iBooks, Arabic language support for Siri and lots more new features, bug fixes and improvements. It also adds support for Apple’s Lightning to SD Card Reader that lets you shoot photos and videos from dedicated cameras and import them to iPhones. Apple has introduced its first Smart Battery Case for the iPhone 6s. Apple doesn’t reveal the battery capacity of the case, but it promises increased talk time up to 25 hours, Internet use up to 18 hours on LTE, and video playback of up to 20 hours when using the case. The case will also show intelligent battery status on the iPhone Lock screen and in Notification Center, so you know exactly how much charge you have left. Oppo introduced the R7 Plus smartphone back in May, and the smartphone was launched in India for Rs. 29,990 in India in September. Motorola is all set to launch the Moto G Turbo Edition in India on December 10th, according to it’s latest teaser. The major charge in the Turbo edition is the Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor instead of Snapdragon 410 SoC on the Moto G (3rd Gen.). It also has Turbo charging capabilities that lets you use the phone for up to 6 hours with just 15 minutes of charging using the bundled 15W Turbo charger.
