LG is all set to introduce its flagship G6 smartphone at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona on February 26th. Today it has announced that it will recruit customers in Korea between February 15 and 24 to offer a pre-launch experience of the G6. Customers who want to participate in the LG G6 Preliminary Experiment Group can head to LG Korea homepage from tomorrow and fill a simple questionnaire about their current smartphone and most useful functions of it. Last month Huawei sent out invites for its MWC 2017 event in Barcelona that is scheduled for February 26th where it is expected to introduce P10 and P10 Plus smartphones. After launching 4G services in Coimbatore and Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu in December and in Madurai last month, Vodafone has launched its 4G services in Chennai, as it had promised. Huawei’s Honor brand has finally started rolling out EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Honor 8 (FRD-L04) smartphone in the U.S. In addition to Android Nougat, the EMUI 5.0 also brings a range of UI changes including changes to Home-screen Interface, Notification Shade, App Drawer, Recent Apps and more.

Verizon launches unlimited data plan

U.S operator Verizon today announced “Verizon Unlimited” that offers unlimited data, calling and texting (to Mexico and Canada) and up to 500 MB/day of 4G LTE roaming (in Mexico and Canada) at $80 per month for individual line or $45 per line for four lines with unlimited data, talk and text. BHIM app for UPI-based payments now available for iPhone

In an attempt to push digital payment throughout the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an app named as ‘BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money)’ for Android back in December last year, which is still one of the top apps on Google Play with over 500 million users. The support page has also gone live on Samsung India site for the Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-G955FD. ‘D’ in the model confirms Dual SIM support. Gionee A1 with 16MP front camera, Android 7.0 live images surface ahead of MWC 2017

Gionee yesterday sent out invites for the global launch event of A1 and A1 Plus smartphones at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona on February 27th. Now live images of the smartphone has surfaced in Nepal. This coincides with earlier rumors that confirms 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5d curved glass display, 16-megapixel front-facing camera, Android 7.0 (Nougat) and more.
