ZTE Axon 30 Ultra with 6.67-inch FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888 pre-orders begin May 27, global roll out from June 4

ZTE announced the Axon 30 Ultra, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in China last month. Today it has announced that it will start pre-orders for the phone on  ztedevices.com from May 27th and open-sales will begin June 4th. For the early bird who pre-order can get a ZTE TWS earbuds for free. It is priced at $749 (Rs. 55,090 approx.) / €749 / £649 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs $849 (Rs. 62,445 approx.) / €849 / £739. MediaTek Dimensity 900 6nm SoC with Dual SIM 5G, support for up to 120Hz FHD+ displays, 108MP camera announced

MediaTek today announced the new Dimensity 900 5G SoC, built on 6nm e TSMC’s 6nm process technology, same as Dimensity 1000 and 1200. It has Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, FHD+ 120Hz display support and a 108MP main camera. It has 5G New Radio (NR) sub-6GHz modem with carrier aggregation, True Dual SIM 5G (5G SA + 5G SA) and Voice over New Radio (VoNR) and support for bandwidth up to 120MHz. The octa-core central processing unit (CPU) consisting of two Arm Cortex-A78 processors with a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz and six Arm Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 2GHz. Redmi Watch with 1.4-inch color touch display, GPS, 11 sports modes launched in India for Rs. 3999

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just launched Redmi Watch, the company’s latest budget smartwatch in India, as it had promised. It  has a 1.4-inch touch color LCD screen, 200+ watch faces, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, 50-meter (5 ATM) water resistance so that you can also take it for swimming. Redmi Note 10S with 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Helio G95, 6GB RAM, 5000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 14999

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Note 10S, the company’s latest mid-range Redmi smartphone in India as it had promised. It comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with up to 1100 nits brightness, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside the 3.54mm punch-hole there is a 13-megapixel camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 with 6GB of RAM, dual layer graphite sheet and runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 out of the box, but the company says that this is the interim version and a full version with all the features including option to uninstall system apps will be added via OTA update. ASUS Zenfone 8 with 5.9-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888, up to 16GB RAM and Zenfone 8 Flip announced

ASUS just announced ASUS ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip smartphones at an online, as it had promised. These pack a 5.9-inch 120Hz E4 AMOLED screen and 6.67-inch Full HD+ 90Hz Samsung AMOLED screen, respectively with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. These are powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC with support for 5G SA/NSA, up to 16GB LPDDR5 and run Android 11 with Zen UI on top. Infinix Note 10 Pro with 6.95-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, Helio G95, up to 8GB RAM and Note 10 with Helio G85, 5000mAh battery announced

Infinix today introduced its new Note 10 and Note 10 Pro smartphones for global markets. Both these pack a 6.95-inch FHD+ centre punch-hole screen with a 16MP front camera, but the Pro version has a 90Hz refresh rate panel. The Note 10 is powered by Helio G85 and the Pro version is powered by Helio G95 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. POCO M3 Pro 5G with MediaTek Dimensity SoC, unique design to be announced on May 19

Update: POCO has confirmed that it will introduce the M3 Pro 5G in a global event on May 19th. The event will start at 2PM CEST (5:30PM IST). Nexstgo has launched new VAIO SX14 premium laptop and a new SE14 with 11th Gen Intel Core processor in India after the launch of E15 and SE14 series earlier this year. Compared to 8th Gen Intel Core i5 in the old SE14 model, the new model has an 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processor with Iris Xe Integrated GPU. Intel introduces 11th Generation Core Tiger Lake H-series mobile processors

Intel has introduced new 11th Gen Intel Core H-series processors based on 10 nanometer SuperFin process technology, feature up to 8 cores and 16 threads, with single and dual-core turbo performance up to 5.0GHz. Additionally, the central processing unit (CPU) can directly access high-speed GDDR6 memory attached to the graphics card, enabling gamers to experience higher frame rates with lower latency, and load large textures faster. The mobile processor offers 2.5 times the total PCIe bandwidth to the CPU compared with the 10th Gen H-series processors, and three times the total PCIe bandwidth compared with other industry processors. OnePlus confirms OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will not get additional 5G bands via software update in India

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, its latest 5G smartphones back in March. At the launch the company said that the phones support 5G SA/NSA bands N41 and N78. However, there were reports that said that OnePlus customer care confirmed that the phones will get more 5G bands via OTA update. ASUS ZenFone 8 series India launch postponed

ASUS recently announced that it will introduce the ZenFone 8 series smartphone on May 12th in a global event. Even the specifications of the ZenFone 8 and the ZenFone 8 Flip surfaced recently. Now the ASUS India has announced that the company wanted to launch the ZenFone 8 series phones in India along with the global launch on May 12th, but it will now postpone the launch.
