ZTE has launched Blade Qlux 4G, the most affordable 4G smartphone in India, as expected. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732M SoC and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support and 4G connectivity with support for both 1800 MHz (Band3 ) and 2300 MHz (Band 40) for India. LINE Music streaming service launched in Japan

LINE corporation, popular for its messaging service has launched LINE Music in Japan. It has a catalog of over 1.5 million tracks from top labels including Sony, Universal, and Japan’s Avex. It plans to expand the catalog to 5 million tracks by the end of 2015 and 30 million by 2016. Line messenger users can also send tracks and playlists to their contacts.

Dell introduced Venue 8 7840 in the 7000 series, as the world’s thinnest tablet at just 6mm thickness, back in September last year. It went on sale in the US earlier this year. Now the company has launched the tablet in India. It has a 8.4-inch (2560 x 1600 pixel) OLED display, is powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera, two Intel RealSense Snapshot Depth Cameras for depth mapping, measurements and 3D editing and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Apple started rolling out fourth beta of iOS 8.4 to developers recently that adds revamped Apple Music app. New popups for Apple Music sign up pages have started showing up for developers. It is even showing up for developers using the latest iOS 8.4 beta in India that reveals the pricing for individual plan as Rs. 120 ($2 approx.) per month and Rs. 180 ($3 approx.) per month for a family plan that provides service for up to six family members. It is powered by a Octa-Core MediaTek MT6595M processor which as four ARM Cortex-A17 cores clocked at 2GHz per core and four ARM Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.69GHz per core, based on ARM big.LITTLE and 28nm HPM process.
