Dell introduced Venue 8 7840 tablet, world’s thinnest tablet at just 6mm thickness, back in September last year. Now the tablet is available for purchase in the US from BestBuy. As we already know, the tablet has a 8.4-inch (2560 x 1600 pixel) OLED display, is powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has Intel RealSense Snapshot Depth Camera that offers depth mapping, measurements and 3D editing via two 720p cameras mounted at the back of the tablet beneath the 8 MP camera sensor. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with microSD card expansion slot and packs a 5670 mAh battery. It has Wi-Fi ac connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0.

The Dell Venue 8 7840 comes in Black color and is priced at $399.99 (Rs. 25,350 approx). No details about its global roll out yet.
