Notion Ink has launched the Cain 8, the company’s latest Windows 8 tablet in India, as it promised. It has a 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS screen and is powered by an quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with free Microsoft Office license for one year and 1TB OneDrive cloud storage.

It launched the Cain 2 in 1, a 10.1-inch Windows 8 tablet with a keyboard back in September. iBall launched a similar 8-inch tablet with 3G support called Slide WQ32 for Rs. 16,999, but it has 2GB RAM and 5MP rear camera, compared to 1GB RAM and 2MP rear camera on the Cain 8.

The Notion Ink Cain 8 comes in Matte Black color and is priced at Rs. 9,990. Notion Ink has partnered with Snapdeal once again for the Cain 8 tablet to sell the tablet exclusively. It offers 8GB of memory card with the tablet as a promotional offer.
