Vodafone are set to re-enter the US market as a MVNO running on the T-Mobile network. The network, who sold their large chunk in Verizon back tot he company for $130 billion, is not focusing on consumer and will instead cater to hundreds of multinational customers based across the pond. Vodafone UK’s 4G Roaming expanded to 17 more countries

Vodafone UK have today announced that their 4G Roaming network is now available in 17 additional countries around the world. The new countries brings the total included in the superfast roaming network up to 40 countries and makes Vodafone the largest 4G Roaming network in Europe. EE ending Orange Wednesdays film offer from February 2015

EE is set to axe its iconic “Orange Wednesdays” 2-for-1 cinema ticket offer from 25th February next year. The offer was originally started by Orange ten years ago and enabled EE mobile and broadband customers to a free full priced cinema ticket every Wednesday (when purchasing another). Samsung appoints former Nokia VP as UK and Ireland VP

Samsung have appointed former Nokia and Microsoft Mobile Devices boss Conor Pierce as their new Vice President for mobile and IT in the UK & Ireland. Conor Pierce, who headed up Nokia’s Mobile Devices division in the region, left Microsoft in October following the acquisition of Nokia and replaced outbound Samsung VP Simon Stanford. BT set to choose O2 over EE

BT looks set to push ahead with a deal to purchase O2 after opting for the network over bigger rival EE. According to a report published by This Is Money, the O2 deal will cost BT a little less than acquiring EE but despite the latter having 3 million more customers, a potential acquisition would have faced significant regulatory hurdles. A small English auctioneer based in Marchington, East Staffordship have been appointed by the administrators of failed UK retailer Phones4U to raise approximately £10.8 million by selling ex stock items. Around 2,000 to 3,000 items – which include headphones, watches, speakers and cases – have begun going on sale in weekly online auctions which will continue until all stock is sold. Galaxy Note Edge UK launch delayed again?

The rollout of the Galaxy Note Edge is fast turning into Samsung’s saga of the year as the unique twin of the Galaxy Note 4 could be delayed yet again. We’ve already seen the handset launch slip with the initial launch rumoured for the middle of November before being pushed back to November 28 and then again to December 12th. The latest information we have comes directly from Samsung’s UK online store and suggests the launch may be pushed back a further 5 days with Note Edge shipments set to begin on December 17th. Three UK 4G – 3m customers, 48% coverage

Three UK have revealed that their superfast 4G network is now available to 48% of the UK population with 3.1 million of their customers are now using the next-generation network. Three was the last network to roll out 4G ten months ago and despite the 48% coverage, they are still behind EE (78%), O2 and Vodafone (51%).
