Motorola was a successful company that enjoyed peak sales with their RAZR series of phones. But the sales went downhill as they were not able to bring out anything new other than phones that were quite similar to the RAZR phones in design and functionality but in different form-factors.

Motorola desperately needed a new device to revive the company by boosting sales. The answer to their problems was the Motorola MILESTONE/ DROID. It was Motorola’s attempt to recreate the success they had with the RAZR phones and it did work. The Motorla DROID which was first introduced in the US and the Motorola MILESTONE which is the GSM Version of the same phone was released worldwide. Motorola has enjoyed record breaking sales of the DROID in USA and MILESTONE also has received great feedback. So the question remains is whether the Milestone with worth the money ? Nazara Technologies to distribute EA Mobile games in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh

Nazara Technologies an Indian company which has direct relationship with most operators in India has entered into a relationship with EA Mobile , a division of Electronic Arts. EA is more popularly known as EA Games . According to the agreement  Nazara will bring the EA Mobile Games to India and it also gives them exclusive rights to distribute the EA Mobile on all operators and other channels  in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The Motorola Charm was just announced and here are some official photos of the QWERTY Android Phone which comes with MotoBlur. On the front is a 2.7 inch display with a 4 row QWERTY keypad. In a major roadmap leak in the UK several unreleased devices such as the Nokie E7, HTC Gold, Acer, Vision, Samsung i8700 Cetus have been leaked. Even a Blackberry 9300 Curve has been spotted.

Nokia X6 16GB Unboxing

We unbox the Nokia X6 16GB version which comes with unlimited music. The X6 is the first phone from Nokia to use a capacitive touchscreen and it does a make a lot of difference even to the date Symbian S60 5th Edition. The phone also packs a 5 MP Camera with LED Flash and features Carl Zeiss optics. The Music playback on this phone via loudspeakers is pretty loud and you can download unlimited music from Ovi Music for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Insight : A former Nokia Employee on the iPhone 4

Charles Anadu is not new to mobile phones. He has owned more mobile devices than he can count. He’s been part of the mobile revolution in USA  from the early days of GPRS to EDGE, to 3G and now to LTE. He has been a mobile device geek since the first time he owned his first mobile phone – A Nokia 3360. Charles picked up an Apple iPhone 4 as soon as it was launched few days ago. We asked him some questions about the iPhone 4 and Mobile Phones in general.  Charles worked for Nokia at one time and says he loves the company to death and talks about their identity crisis. Yahoo launches Android Apps for Mail, Messenger and Search Widget

Yahoo today launched it’s first ever Android Apps for Yahoo Mail and  Messenger . It has also launched a Search Widget for Android. It has also rolled out a HTML 5 websites for Mail and News for iPhone / iPod touch.

Motorola DROID Android 2.2 Build Leaks !

The official build of the Android 2.2 update for the Motorola DROID has been leaked and posted on MyDroidWorld. Please not that this update is for the Verizon branded Moto-droid for USA and NOT the GSM Motolra Milestone .  We wont recommend you to get this update unless you have a spare DROID and are desperate to get FroYo on board ! Microsoft Kills the KIN !

Microsoft announced the KIN phones KIN1 and KIN2 back only in April and now is killing the product to focus on Windows Phone 7. Microsoft will continue to sell the phones through Verizon in USA but we fear it might not be long until Verizon ran out of inventory. There were some reports that only 500 phones were sold since the launch and the sales were not as expected.
