Get Android 9.0 Pie on Redmi Note 5 Pro with OxygenOS 9.0 port
Xiaomi’s MIUI is amongst the most popular Android skins with more than 300 million worldwide users. MIUI is a heavy skin on top of Android skin that offers various customizations but brings a good amount of bloat as well. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro was amongst the best selling devices launched in 2018 but it runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) based MIUI 10 as of now. As per an official announcement, Redmi Note 5 Pro is expected to get Android 9.0 (Pie) in Q1 2019 but the public beta testing for the MIUI Global ROM hasn’t started yet.

Xiaomi rolls out final MIUI 10.2 update for Redmi Note 3
Redmi 1S, Redmi Note/Prime, Redmi 2/Prime were the devices which redefined their respective price segments back in 2014-15 and helped Xiaomi becoming an established player in India but it was Redmi Note 3 that paved the way towards making company India’s No. 1 smartphone brand. The device is almost three years old now and so, Back in December, Xiaomi announced that MIUI 10.2 will be the last update for the devices including Redmi Note 3 and Mi 5. Last year, it dropped software support for some devices including Redmi 1S, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Mi 4i that were launched in 2015 or before. Xiaomi’s Survival Game now available for download
Update – January 17, 2019 – The Survival game is now available from Mi App Store for eligible Xiaomi devices. The game is just 185MB so you can’t expect PUBG-like graphics. If you don’t have Xiaomi smartphone, you can download the APK from here and install it manually.

Update: We have managed to get the download link for the Mi A1 Android Pie beta update which is about 1.3GB in size. Since this is still in beta stage, there might be bugs. It is recommended to backup before updating. We have flashed it successfully with TWRP Recovery.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Android 9.0 Pie stable update starts rolling out
Xiaomi launched the second-generation Android One devices – Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite back in July at an event in Spain. At the event, Xiaomi and Google promised Android version updates along with monthly security patch updates as the device was launched under the Android One program. Xiaomi started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) to Mi A2 last week in India and now it has started rolling out Android 9.0 to Mi A2 Lite in some regions after announcing Android Pie Beta testers recruitment couple of weeks ago.
