Mac App Store Downloads crosses the 100 Million Mark.

Roughly designed around the iTunes App Store for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, Apple fashioned the online outlet the previous year as a steadfast place to obtain their Mac software. A million people doubted it. Yet, as of today, Apple proclaimed that the Mac App Store crossed above 100 million downloads. It abides the same 70-30 profits divide, where software developers split 30% of their trade with Apple, except if the application is free of charge.

Web page for Droid 4 leaked

Word is that the DROID 4 from Motorola will come to Verizon by 22nd December (as it has now mustered the FCC); optimistically, Santa knows what I want. As confirmation that Verizon is preparing to unleash the Motorola Droid 4, this screenshot is from the DridDoes.com web page with a link to the Droid 4, on the Droid 3 web page. We may even see this slide-out QWERTY 4G LTE baby foregoing the Galaxy Nexus, and this wouldn’t astonish me at all. Ultimately, this would be an element of the Droid 4 web page.

HTC smartphones might get banned in Germany

A previous infringement judgment might be dawned on HTC by patent licensing bureau IPCom, and the label might not be able to sell its product in Germany, in the upcoming holiday season. The ruling was factually made when just as a Mannheim court stated that HTC was imposing a vital mobile telephony patent that was obtained from Bosch, three years ago.

Apple’s cult following mocked by Samsung advert

Now who doesn’t love a satire? And a satire it is, the new Samsung Galaxy  SII advert telling customers that “the next big thing is already here”. It is funny, refreshing and tremendously daring as it mocks the die-hard Apple’s cult following. Lines such as “I could never get a Samsung – I’m creative,” to which another customer responds “dude, you’re a barista.” crack me up further. The spoof is wholly obscured by remarks like “uh oh – the blogs are saying the battery looks sketchy,” or “if it looks the same, how will people know I upgraded?” but a quick look of an iPhone can be clearly seen in the footage. The 60-second advert points out to some of the SII’s remarkable features – specifically the huge, vivacious screen and 4G potential.

Half a milion apps sold on the Android market.

The Android Market surpassed 500,000 applications in the month of September. Although more that 37% of submissions have been taken out over the course time for an assortment of excuses, the Android Market transcended 500,000 issued  applications last month as recorded by a mobile app market intelligence firm research2guidance. This firm also stated that the Apple’s App Store has had more than 600,000 bestselling  submissions till date having 24% of apps have been removed. This is what the firm had to say – “Although Apple regularly cleans up its store from inappropriate or outdated content, its active application share still exceeds that of Android,”  it also stated about Apple – “It is likely that the more rigid application submission requirements prevent developers from publishing multiple trial or low quality applications whereas publishers in the Android Market place a lot of market testing, trials, demo and malware content.”
