HP TouchPad will touchdown in USA on July 1 for $499

The HP TouchPad webOS tablet which was rumored to hit USA in June has got an official launch date of July 1. The 16GB WiFi version will be available for $499.99 and the 32GB version will sell of $599.99. Pre-orders will start from June 19 in both USA and Europe. United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Germany will get the tablet few days after USA and Canada gets it in mid-July. Verizon Wireless officially announces Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G tablet

Samsung recently announced that they will launch their first ever 4G tablet this year and it looks like the time is here because Verizon Wireless officially announced Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G tablet. The tablet was announced back at MWC and after that, Samsung redesigned the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to take down its powerful rival known as Apple iPad2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will run on Android 3.1 and Verizon is offering both 16 GB and 32 GB versions with 2-yr contact. If you want to get the 16GB version, then you have to pay $529.99 to get it with a 2-yr agreement or you can get 32 GB version for $629.99.

T-Mobile, USA has announced that HTC Sensation 4G would be exclusively available from June 15 for $199.99 with a two year contract. T-Mobile announced the 4G device this April after it was officially announced. This phone appeared on the Vodafone UK site before its launch and was available for pre-order later, then it was available from 20th May with Vodafone UK. Alaska Airlines replaces heavy paper flight manuals with the iPad

Alaska Airlines has become the first US Airline ( or first airline in the world according to my knowledge) to replace heavy paper flight manuals with the Apple iPad. This means that Airline pilots will only have to carry a 700 gram iPad (assuming it’s the iPad2 WiFi version) in place of over 11 kilos of paper manuals.
