Apparently Audi, BMW and Daimler have decided to join forces in order to purchase the HERE mapping division from Nokia. It seems that they have agreed to purchase it “in principle”.
Leaks and reports about the Motorola Moto G (3rd gen) continue to surface as the phone is expected to be unveiled on July 28th. This time the phone gets briefly listed on a Swiss retailer site Digitec.

Motorola is apparently planning to announce the 3rd generation Moto X as well as the Moto G at an event on July 28th. Now, the third generation of the Motorola Moto G (XT1550) has been imported into India for testing purposes.
Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) has surfaced on a Spanish retail site fnac.es that reveals 2GB of RAM, which coincides with the recent leak and also shows a 1.7GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC, which could be Snapdragon 610 SoC. There might be several variants of the smartphone. It also reveals a price tag of 199 Euros (US$ 215 / Rs. 13,730 approx.), Black and White color variants. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is rumored to launch alongside the Note 5 either during IFA or perhaps earlier, sometime in August. Now, a dummy version of the S6 Edge Plus has appeared online in photos and even gets compared to the Note 4.

A new benchmark listing shows an LG phone that is powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor and also has 4GB of RAM. The LG G4 flagship is also powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor but only has 3GB of RAM so this device could be the rumoured ‘Plus” variant of the G4.

We’ve already told you about Sony’s device codenamed Lavender. It will be a selfie centric smartphone that will sport a bezel-less display and is likely to launch as the T4 Ultra or the C5 Ultra. Apparently Sony has another smartphone in the works that will also be bezel-less and will be announced around the same time in August.

New renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have been leaked thanks to a case manufacturer called ITSKINS. These renders more or less confirm the existence of the S6 Edge Plus which some sources had stated to be just a cooked up device. The renders show us the rough design, layout and controls of the devices.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is probably the hottest smartphones in the rumour section right now and now we have another bit of information that will add fuel to the fire. Apparently the smartphone is set for an early launch and will be announced on August 12th followed by a release on August 14th in major markets.
The Xiaomi Mi 4i is a cheaper version of the Mi 4 with slightly downgraded specifications. The current Mi 4i which was launched in India by Xiaomi features a Snapdragon 615 processor. However it seems that they are planning to release a version which is powered by the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor.
