Just as Xiaomi announced their entry into the smart electric vehicle business, HUAWEI has revealed their plans to invest $1 billion into the research and development of EV and self-driving technologies. To achieve the goal of entering this market space, the company will be partnering with 3 automakers in China, who will release cars under the HUAWEI name as a sub-brand.

After rumours, Samsung has announced Galaxy Quantum 2 (SM-A826S) in partnership with SK Telecom in South Korea. This is the successor to last year’s Galaxy A Quantum which was introduced as the world’s first 5G smartphone with quantum random number generation (QRNG) chipset. Last week realme confirmed that the realme 8 series 5G smartphones will be launched in Thailand on April 21st. The phones are rumoured to launch in India on April 22nd. In the latest development, Microsoft has announced the acquisition of Nuance Communications, in an all-cash transaction valued at $19.7 billion, inclusive of net debt. As a part of the deal, the Redmond tech giant will pay $56 per share for Nuance, a 23% premium over the closing price of Nuance on Friday, April 9.
