Samsung Galaxy A40 with Infinity U display, dual rear cameras surface

Samsung announced that it will introduce new Galaxy A series smartphones at an event on April 10th. Now the press renders of the Galaxy A40 (SM-A405F) smartphone has surfaced showing the phone’s Infinity-U screen with minimal bezels, and it will likely be a Super AMOLED screen, similar to the Galaxy A30. It also shows dual rear cameras, which should be a standard lens along with an ultra-wide angle lens. It has a gradient finish on the shiny back.

RCOM and Reliance Jio terminate multi-crore wireless infrastructure asset deal by mutual consent

Reliance Communications (RCOM) just announced that the deal between RCOM, RTL, RITL (RCOM Group) and RJIL for sale of certain
specified telecom assets have been terminated today by mutual agreement. The company says that this is due to lack of consent from its lenders and permissions from telecom department among other reasons since the agreements nearly 15 months ago. Apple introduces 10.5-inch iPad Air and new iPad mini with Apple Pencil support starting at Rs. 44900 and Rs. 34900

Apple has introduced new 10.5-inch iPad Air and 5th Generation iPad Mini. Both these are powered by Apple’s A12 Bionic chip. The new iPad Mini comes with Apple Pencil support, a new advanced Retina display panel with True Tone technology and wide color support.

Honor 10 Lite 3GB RAM, 32GB storage version launched in India for Rs. 11999

Huawei’s Honor brand has launched Honor 10 Lite smartphone in India back in January this year starting at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM version and Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB RAM version, both with 64GB storage. Today has a launched the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version in the country for Rs. 11,999, which is available exclusively from Flipkart in Midnight Black and Gradiant Blue colors.

Along with the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Xiaomi also introduced the Redmi 7 smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.26-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display, is powered by Snapdragon 632 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10, features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for capturing depth information in portrait shots. It also has an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 675, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage announced in China

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Note 7 Pro for the Chinese market, as it had promised. It comes in 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version for China, costs 1599 yuan (US$ 238 / Rs. 16,350 approx.) compared to Rs. 16,999 in India. It will go on sale in China starting March 22nd. Other specifications are similar to the Redmi Note 7 Pro version that was launched in India last month.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones running on MIUI 10.2 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) in India on 28th February. The smartphone duo went on sale in India recently, and the company claimed that it sold over 2 lakh units within minutes during first Redmi Note 7 sale on 6th March. ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2, Max Pro M1 and Max M2 Android 9.0 (Pie) update will roll out by April 15

Back in December last year ASUS confirmed Android Pie update for Zenfone 5Z and Max Pro M2 will get the Pie update in January, and the Max Pro M1 will get in February, but only the Zenfone 5Z got the Pie update in January, while the other phones are yet to get the update. This week the company confirmed that the both these phones along with the Zenfone Max M2 will get the update by April 15th.
