After Andhra Pradesh, ACT Fibernet has revised its plans for its customers in Hyderabad, in just 6 months of last upgrade . It gets upgraded in both speed and FUP limit at same cost, but it is not double (that combines both upload and download) like AP, Chennai and other cities. Xiaomi launched the Mi Max 2 smartphone in India earlier this year with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for Rs. 16999. Today it has launched the 32GB storage version of the phone in the country. Other specifications are same, including a 6.44-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with 0.7mm ultra narrow bezel on the side, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 5300mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 along with parallel charging and Snapdragon 625 with 4GB of RAM. Micromax launched Bharat 2 smartphone earlier this year and the company said that it sold 2 million units since launch. Today the company has launched Bharat 3 and Bharat 4, budget 4G VoLTE smartphones in the country. Both these are powered by MediaTek MT6737M SoCs with 1GB RAM, run Android 7.0 (Nougat) and have 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. After launching across India earlier this year, Airtel Payments Bank, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel has announced integration of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) on its digital platform, making it the first payments bank to do so. This will allow customers to make secure digital payments to online/offline merchants and make instant money transfers to any bank account in India.

After reports, Google has officially launched Tez, its latest payments app in India. It uses UPI (Unified Payments Interface) and works with all major banks and Google also has Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and soon State Bank of India as partners. You can pay directly from your bank account, so you don’t need to open a separate account recharge wallets. It has several offers such as Scratch Cards offer, Lucky Sundays Lucky Draw Offer and referral rewards for users.

Xiaomi has launched Mi Band HRX Edition in India in partnership with HRX by Hrithik Roshan, after teasing it earlier this week. This has almost similar specifications as the Mi Band 2, including an OLED display and is splash resistant, but the HRX edition will offer an improved tracking algorithm to accurately monitor your activities and promises up to 23-days of battery life, compared to 20 days on the Mi band 2, however it doesn’t have a heart rate sensor.
