Pixel Experience is amongst the popular AOSP based custom ROMs that aims towards providing a Pixel-like stock Android experience. It takes a no-bloat approach along with Pixel exclusive goodies to provide users pure vanilla Android experience. A couple of days back, Pixel Experience project developers released Android 11 based beta builds for various devices. We installed Android 11 based Pixel Experience on our POCO F1 unit, and here is our overview and first impression post to walk you through its features and installation procedure.

POCO F1 6GB + 64GB gets a Rs. 2000 limited period price cut in India, available for Rs. 17999

Xiaomi’s POCO launched the  F1, the company’s first smartphone in India back in August last year starting at Rs. 20,999, later in December it got a permanent price cut to Rs. 19,999 and the . Now the company has announced a limited time price cut for POCO F1 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, which is available from both Flipkart and Mi.com at Rs. 17,999.

POCO F1 finally gets Widevine L1 support via OTA beta update [Update: Netflix HD playback coming soon]

Update: POCO has finally confirmed that Netflix HD content playback will be available soon, as it has announced in the latest feedback post that it has some progress with Netflix. Hope we can expect an update soon to enable it soon. The company is yet to roll out stable update to add widevine L1 and 4K 60 fps support.

Here’s how you can install OxygenOS 9.0 on Poco F1

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the F1 last year in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 19,999 after recent price cut. This device runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI on top with POCO launcher out of the box. POCO F1 Armored Edition with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage launched in India for Rs. 23999

Xiaomi’s POCO launched the F1 smartphone in India in four versions, including a Kevlar Armored Edition with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, now it has launched a new 6GB RAM with 128GB storage Armored Edition of the smartphone in the country. The Armored Edition that uses Kevlar aramid fibre for a premium look and feel.

POCO F1 gets a permanent price cut in India, now starts at Rs. 19999

Xiaomi’s POCO launched the  F1, the company’s first smartphone in India back in August starting at Rs. 20,999. After offering discounts during sales, Xiaomi has announced Rs. 1000 permanent price cut for the smartphone in the country to celebrate 700,000 unit sales globally. The base variant now starts at Rs. 19,999. The POCO F1 is available from both Flipkart and Mi.com at new rates.

POCO F1 Widevine L1 support expected to arrive soon

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 couple of months ago in India, the smartphone has been in news since the launch for the good reasons except for a  few issues, but the company has been very responsive towards addressing the issues. POCO F1 lacks widevine L1 support because of which POCO F1 users can not stream HD content on Netflix and Amazon Prime Videos, in response to users on Twitter the company spokesperson mentioned that company is investigating the issue. POCO finally addresses POCO F1’s screen bleeding reports

POCO has finally addressed POCO F1’s “screen bleeding” issue reported by several users. The company has released a statement saying that less than 0.3% of total users have experienced edge light dispersion, which can be fixed through service centres after the phone is examined if there is any issues. However this does not affect the performance or usability of the phone , it added. It assured that it would be working further to reduce tolerances. POCO F1 first sale generated over Rs. 200 crore in less than 5 minutes

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the F1, the company’s first smartphone in India last week, and has promised, it went on sale for the first time today at 12PM. The company has announced that it sold over Rs. 200 crore worth of smartphones in just 5 minutes. It said that this made it the biggest and fastest flagship sale ever. POCO F1 Hands On and First Impressions

It’s safe to say that Xiaomi can be credited for kickstarting the whole affordable flagship trend with the launch of the Mi3 way back in 2014. There’s been ample competition since then with OnePlus standing out in particular as a success story. Enter POCO, an entire new sub-brand building on the strengths of Xiaomi. The POCO F1 is the first phone under this brand and like its namesake race, this is one screaming fast phone. POCO F1 with 6.18-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 845, up to 8GB RAM, liquid cooling, AI dual rear cameras launched in India starting at Rs. 20999

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO just launched the F1, the company’s first smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.18-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a notch, is powered by Snapdragon 845 with up to 8GB RAM and LiquidCool Technology. It runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI on top with POCO launcher, and the company has promised Android 9.0 (Pie) update in Q4 2018.
