HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has confirmed the launch of HONOR 9A smartphone in India on July 31st on Amazon.in. It was introduced for global markets last month and packs a 6.3-inch 20:9 HD+ screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, packs triple rear cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint and a 5000mAh battery. ASUS just launch the ROG Phone 3, the company’s latest gaming smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED HDR AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch-sampling rate, 25ms touch latency, is one of the first phones to be powered by Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC with up to 12GB (16GB in global market) of RAM. It has redesigned Copper 3D vapor chamber, larger graphite film that dissipates the heat even faster with the assistance of a heat sink that is 6X larger than the one used in ROG Phone II. India smartphone shipments decline 48% YoY in Q2 2020, 17.3 million units shipped: Report

Q2 2020 has been recorded to be one of the worst periods for the Indian smartphone market as it saw a decline of 48% YoY, shipping a little over 17 million units. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the economy to shut down, leading to both a drop in manufacturing and demand for smartphones in the country. The top 5 companies for Q2 2020 were Xiaomi, Vivo, Samsung, OPPO and realme.

OnePlus Buds design, features surface in OnePlus Pods app

OnePlus may have just accidentally completely revealed the design of their upcoming truly wireless earbuds, called the OnePlus Buds. The leak was spotted from an app called OnePlus Pods that was uploaded onto APKmirror and it shows the OnePlus Buds in three colours, along with the case and the earbuds design itself.
