Airtel 3G launched in Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida

Airtel has finally launched 3G services in the Indian capital New Delhi and NCR ( National Capital Region) which includes Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida. The company claims it has installed over 1800+  3G cell sites for this region. Seems like the tariffs are same as the Airtel 3G tariffs revealed before.  I know a lot of readers have been asking about Airtel’s 3G launch in Delhi and here is good news for you all.

Aircel has launched their much awaited 3G services at Cochin, Hyderabad and Srinagar. These services enable users to experience a wide range of 3G services including, video calling, live streaming of music and video, super fast data transfers and a lots more right on your mobile phones. To activate the 3G services, any Aircel user, Prepaid /Postpaid  having a 3G Handset, a Data Plan and a network coverage area can experience 3G services. You do not need a separate 3G SIM to avail 3G Services and can continue with the existing SIM.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc up for Pre-order in India


All those of you who have been eagerly waiting for the next phone in the Xperia line-up, good news for you. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is now available for pre-order at Flipkart. The phone is expected to launch officially in the second week of April in India. The Xperia Arc runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, and is surely going attract lots of mobile enthusiasts. We already told you after CES that this phone was coming to India in March.

BSNL Unlimited 3G plans now gone!

It has been the biggest dissapointment for all the BSNL mobile internet users, as the company has decided to discontinue its famous unlimited 3G data plans. It was a sad news for all those heavy users, who like to spend most of their time on the Internet. The unlimited data plans were considered to be hot cakes in the market, since no other service provider was offering any kind of unlimited plans on 3G. BSNL provided the Unlimited 3G plans at a price of Rs.1359/month(post-paid) and Rs.1499/month(pre-paid). Vodafone to launch MiFi device in India for Rs.5500

We were just looking around the Vodafone 3G site and found a nice surprise – Mi-Fi a device.  I guess most of you have heard of such a device or might be using one. For those of you who don’t know , it’s a portable Wi-Fi hotspot which takes in a SIM Card and lets you share your single data connection with multiple devices. If you are a person who carries multiple phones and want data on all devices without hefty phone bills or painful SIM swapping, a MiFi is a great device to have.

Vodafone 3G Tariffs Revealed

Yesterday , Vodafone India launched 3G services in India with a really funny advert during a World Cup Cricket Match and seems like the Tariffs went up on the Mumbai site for a while before it was removed. We are not sure if these are postpaid plans or prepaid plans but seems like Postpaid as there is an advanced rental option. There are 2 kinds of plans – one for use in phones and the other for use in USB dongles we assume. Thanks to a dedicated reader who decided to leave a comment on our original article.
