Saavan, global music service has announced their premium music service, Saavn Pro that would offer offline and ad-free music listening. Saavn already has a free music service for several platforms including iPhone and iPad. Saavn Pro would also be available for worldwide users in the US, UK, and other major markets apart from India.
Features of Saavn Pro
- Offline Listening: Available on up to 5 devices per account.
- Ad-Free Listening: Music streams with no interruptions from advertising. When logged in with your premium account, ads are removed on all platforms, including Saavn.com.
- Sync Over Cellular: You can choose whether to use WiFi or your cellular data connection to cache your music for offline listening.
- Pro Audio: Access to the highest quality music (320 kbps) (will be added to the product in the coming weeks)
You can save the songs or a playlist just by clicking the cloud icon next to them. Saavn says that 10,000 people have already registered their interest at pro.saavn.com in the first 48 hours.
Saavn Pro would be available for iOS devices on March 1st. It would come with a 30-day free trial, after that users can subscribe for $3.99 per month directly through their Apple ID. Saavn Pro app for Android and other platforms would be available later this year.
