Nokia Lumia 720 launched in India, available mid-April


Nokia has launched the Lumia 720 in India at an event in Delhi. The Lumia 720 was unveiled at the MWC 2013 last month along with the Lumia 520. It has a 4.3-inch  (800 x 480 pixels) ClearBlack display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8227 processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS. It has a 6.7-megapixel auto focus camera at the back with LED Flash, Carl Zeiss optics and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.  It is 9 mm thick and weighs 129 grams.


Other features include 512MB RAM, 8GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 64GB with microSD. The connectivity features include, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.1, GPS / aGPS, NFC,A-GPS+GLONASS. It packs a 2000 mAh battery and has an optional Wireless Charging Cover Accessory. It would come pre-loaded with Big Flix app that would offer 3 months of free movie streaming.

The Nokia Lumia 720 would come in Yellow, Red, Cyan, White and Black colors. It would go on sale in India from mid-April. No word on the pricing yet, but we expect it to be priced around Rs. 20,000. It would come with 1 GB of free 3G data from Idea Cellular for 2 months.
