Fly Mobiles has launched the Fly F45s, the company’s latest Android smartphone. It has a 4.5-inch (960 × 540 pixels) qHD capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 12-megapixel auto focus camera with LED Flash that can take 80 burst shots. It also has a 3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support with dual standby. Videocon is also expected to launch the A47 with a 4.7-inch qHD display, Android 4.1 and a 12MP camera. The Celkon A119 Signature HD that we reviewed recently has a 5-inch HD display, but most of the features are similar to the Fly F45S.

Nokia Asha 210 QWERTY phone with dedicated WhatsApp button announced

Nokia has announced the Asha 210, the company’s new phone in the Asha series with a dedicated WhatsApp button. This is the world’s first phone to have a dedicated WhatsApp button. Nokia released the Asha 205, a QWERTY phone with a dedicated button to access Facebook. It has a 2.4-inch (240 x 320 pixels) 65k color display, a QWERTY keyboard. It has Slam feature to share multimedia content like photos, music and videos with nearby friends instantly. It has a 2MP rear camera with dedicated camera key. It has Self-portrait and option to share photos easily straight from the camera application to your social networks.

LG Optimus G Pro likely to launch in India by June

LG announced its competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note earlier this year in the form of the Optimus G Pro which is a large screen Android phone / Phablet and one of the first phones to be powered by the Snapdragon 600 processor. LG India has confirmed to FoneArena that it will soon launch the Optimus G Pro here in India most likely by June. Videocon A47, A51, A53 and A45 spotted on official website

Looks like Videocon is all set to release  range of Android smartphones. The Videocon A47 would be the company’s flagship device that would feature a 4.7-inch (960 × 540 pixels)  5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core 1GHz processor. It would run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. The Videocon A53 and the A51 would feature a 5.3-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) and a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) touch screen displays respectively. Both these phones would be powered by a dual-core processors and run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). All these phones would come with dual SIM support. It has a 5.3-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) IPS capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 8MP rear camera wih LED flash and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support with dual standby similar to other Byond smartphones. The company launched the Byond PIII with a 6-inch display last year  and the Byond Phablet PII with a 5.7-inch HD display earlier this year. Zen Ultrafone 701 HD with 5-inch HD display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.2 launched for Rs. 11999


Zen Mobile has launched the Zen Ultrafone 701 HD, the company’s latest flagship Android smartphone in India. Pre-bookings for the phone started earlier this month.  It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It packs a a 8MP auto focus camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, full HD video recording, Panorama Shot, and Burst shot with upto 99 shots on the go. It has a 3.2 MP front-facing camera and comes with dual SIM support with dual Standby. This is the company’s first high-end smartphone sin the Ultrafone category, and it is aimed at smart and tech savvy youth. The Intex Aqua Marvel+ has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbead), similar to its predecessor, but the Marvel+ has a 5-megapixels camera and the battery capacity is down to 1400 mAh from 1450 mAh. Idea Cellular has launched the AURUS 2, successor of the first AURUS phone that was launched last year. It has a 3.5 inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display similar its predecessor, but this runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1 GHz processor, instead of 800MHz processor. It has a 3.2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera for video calling. It is aimed at 3G users in semi-urban and rural markets. Micromax unveiled the A116 Canvas HD, the company’s latest flagship back in January. Images of the A115 Canvas 3D surfaced earlier this month, now images of the another smartphone in the Canvas series, the Micromax A111 has appeared online. According to MMXNewscaster, the phone would feature a 5.3-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display with 5 point multi-touch that would also let you operate the phone with gloves. The phone would be powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225Q processor and run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It would come with a 8MP rear camera with dual LED Flash and a 1.2MP front-facing camera. It would also have a 3D Graphics Accelerator. Firefox Smartphone devices to launch in 9 countries starting from June 2013


Smartphone running on the Firefox OS would start shipping in 9 countries including Brazil, Colombia, Hungary, Mexico, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Spain, and Venezuela, according to a recent report from Business Insider. At AllThingsD’s D: Dive Into Mobile conference, Mozilla CEO Gary Kovacs said that the Firefox OS would launch in five countries, but Mozilla PR confirmed to Business Insider that it would be available in 9 countries starting from June 2013. The Samsung Galaxy S4 might be coming to India as soon as April 27th. The Korean smartphone giant is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S4 in several countries across the world on April 26-27th. Samsung launched the much anticipated successor to the Galaxy S3 at a launch event in New York City last month . India is a key market for Samsung and would be getting the flagship Android device pretty soon. The S4 features a 5 inch display , quad-core or octa-core processor (depending on the market), Android 4.2.2 , 13 Megapixel camera, 2600 mAh battery and many other interesting features.

It’s been less than a month since the Micromax A51 Blot was spotted on the official Micromax website. It is finally on sale from online retailers Saholic and Snapdeal. It has a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) display,  powered by a 832 MHz Broadcom processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. It packs a 2 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera similar to the A35. Micromax launched the A35 Bolt, the company’s first Android smartphone in the Bolt series back in February.
