Nokia Lumia 521 headed to T-Mobile USA

Nokia has announced the Lumia 521 exclusively for the T-Mobile USA. It features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8227 processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS. It has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with 720p HD video recording. The phone is identical to the Lumia 520 in terms of hardware, but supports 4G on T-Mobile and has the carrier branding on the bottom. Nokia Catwalk rumored specs leak out, to be launched in June

There has never been a time when products gets announced without leaking out in the open several months before launch. One can attribute that to every high profile product ever released, especially in Smartphones. Likewise, after just seeing the Lumia 928 in pictures, we have now gotten some information of the Nokia “Catwalk” which we think, according to the leak, is a global version of the Lumia 928, but made of aluminium and sans the Xenon flash. This information comes via @flavio, a person on Twitter who once leaked details of the Nokia EOS.

Nokia Lumia 928 with Xenon Flash, PureView camera press image surfaces

First press image of the Nokia Lumia 928 for Verizon USA has surfaced online. The Nokia Lumia 928, a Lumia 920 variant have been rumored for few months under the codename Laser, and the image from evleaks confirms its existence. As you can see in the leaked image, it has a Xenon Flash, which is first for a Lumia device. It also has an LED flash on the back similar to the Nokia 808 PureView.

Nokia Lumia 520 available at retail stores starting from April 6th for Rs. 10499

Nokia India has announced that the Lumia 520 would go on sale from retail stores across India starting from tomorrow, April 6th 2013 for Rs. 10,499. It went up on pre order last week and went on sale online earlier this week. Nokia already announced at the Lumia 520 launch event last month that the phone would come with 1 GB of free 3G data from Reliance per month for 2 months. Now they have announced the phone would come with unlimited access to Facebook and WhatsApp for two months for new and existing Reliance Comm (GSM) subscribers. HTC Radar Windows Phone 7.8 update finally rolling out in India

HTC has finally started rolling out Windows Phone 7.8 update (v7.10.8862.144) for the HTC Radar in India. It started rolling out back in January in some countries. Nokia started rolling out the Windows Phone 7.8 update for their WP 7.5 devices back in January. The HTC Radar was launched in India in October 2011, and got a price cut in August. This update brings several new features including resizable live tiles, bing lockscreen wallpaper, 20 color accents and lots more. This doesn’t have the Bluetooth file transfer feature that was available in Nokia Lumia devices.

Online retailer Flipkart has put up the device for pre-order at a price tag of Rs. 10,499.  It wasunveiled at the Mobile World Congress in 2013 in Barcelona last month, and appeared on the Nokia India Shop online portal earlier this month, which still says ‘coming soon’ without any price tag. It has a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display with 2D hardened glass, and is super sensitive touch for finger nail and glove use. The Evernote app for Android got these features in a new update earlier this week. The new Notebook Stacks feature is a new way to visually group similar notebooks. Nokia Lumia 820 price drops to Rs. 23499

Nokia has cut the price of the Lumia 820 to Rs. 23,499 in India. The Lumia 820 was announced back in September 2012, and it was launched in India earlier this year at a price tag of Rs. 27559. It has a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 pixels) AMOLED  ClearBlack display, 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS. The official app from HDFC Bank for Windows Phone just went live on the Windows Phone store. The app looks pretty similar to applications on other platforms from the bank.You can transfer money even to other bank accounts through NEFT.  You can pay your bills and manage your account like with any regular mobile banking app. You can even manage  your demat account, mutual funds and credit card. The Dark Knight Rises and Shark Dash now available for Windows Phone 8 devices

Gameloft has released their popular games, The Dark Knight Rises and Shark Dash for the Windows Phone 8 devices. The Dark Knight Rises game was released for Android, iPhone and iPad back in July last year. As you all know The Dark Knight Rises is based on the Batman movie franchise. It has all the characters from the batman like Catwoman, Lucius Fox and Commissioner Gordon. You have to finish missions and random events and protect Gotham City from Bane. It was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in 2013 in Barcelona last month, and appeared on the Nokia India Shop last week. It comes with a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display with 2D hardened glass. The display is super sensitive touch for finger nail and glove use. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8227 processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS.
