Evernote has updated the Android app to version 5.0 that brings new features including a new design, new Multi-shot camera, Page camera and lots more new features. This major Evernote update for Android also adds a new Premium feature that lets premium customers search attached office documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Evernote 5.0 for iPhone and iPad was released last year.
New features in Evernote for Android v5.0
- Redesigned note lists, icons and lots of minor design tweaks and improvements
- New Multi-shot Camera lets you take multiple photos, then save them all into a note.
- New mode beautifully digitizes photos of physical documents and pages
- Shortcuts in the Shortcut Panel lets you quickly jump to notes, notebooks and tags that you access frequently
- Search in attached office documents, spreadsheets and presentations (Premium users only)
Evernote has also introduced Smart Notebook by Moleskine, which is the first paper notebook specifically designed to bring physical notes to Evernote account.
