Micromax launched Canvas Laptab, a 2-in-1 with inbuilt 3G SIM support running Windows 8.1 back in April. Today the company has announced that all new Canvas LapTab units will come pre-loaded with Windows 10. Microsoft released Windows 10 for all existing users running on Windows 7 and later on July 29th. The Canvas LapTab has a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS screen, is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor, has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Twitter for Windows 10 updated with group DMs, multiple accounts and more

Twitter has updated its Windows 10 app with a number of features. The app has finally received features which were already present on its mobile apps.

The Twitter app for Windows 10 now gets group messaging feature that allows users to direct message (DM) with more than one person and lets you add multiple contacts to a group chat. You can start a group chat with any of your followers, but those individuals don’t have to follow each other to participate in your chat. Next up, the app now supports multiple accounts which means you can add and quickly switch between multiple Twitter accounts right from within the app.

Users can now comment on other people’s Tweets with the Quote Tweet feature and view and subscribe to lists. The update brings a new Happening Now section which should keep you up on whatever’s trending at all times. Finally, Now unsent Tweets are saved into drafts folder that can be used later. Twitter had released the native Windows 10 app in July this year.

Asus has announced VivoStick PC, a PC stick running full Windows 10 at the IFA 2015 in Berlin. This tiny dongle will transform your TV or monitor with a HDMI port to a full-fledged PC, similar to the Intel Compute Stick. It is powered by a Intel’s 14nm Cherry Trail platform, has 2GB of DDR3L RAM and 32 GB of storage, but it lacks an microSD expansion slot, which is a big disadvantage since Windows 10 itself takes half of the storage. All these share similar specifications that includes a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Z series run Android Lollipop 5.1 and the M series run Windows 10 Mobile. The Liquid Z330 and M330 have 4G support, while the Z320 and the M320 have 3G connectivity. Acer Jade Primo with 5.5 inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 808, Windows 10 announced

Acer has announced the Jade Primo smartphone which the company claims is a “pocket PC”. The phone will come equipped with Windows 10 software, and is said to be one of the first phones to use Microsoft’s Continuum for Phone software that enables seamless transition from mobile to desktop modes.
