Motorola Moto E confirmed through import export listing, rumored to cost Rs. 8999
Last week Motorola scheduled two separate events in London and India on May 13th to unveil its affordable smartphone. According to a listing on Zauba, Indian import/export website, Moto E (XT-1022) has been imported from China to Bangalore few days back. This was first spotted by AndroidOS. Xolo Q1000 Opus gets Android 4.4.2 KitKat update
Xolo has released Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Q1000 Opus that was launched back in December last year running Android 4.2.2. This is the company’s first smartphone with a quad-core Broadcom chip in the Q CORE series and also its first smartphone to get the KitKat update. The company had released several minor updates for the phone since the launch. It released a minor update back in January to fix camera bugs.

Android KitKat is now present on 8.5% of all global active devices, according to the data released on the Android Developers Dashboard The latest version of Google’s Operating System increased its share by 3.2% over last month when it stood at 5.3%.
Xolo Q900T with 4.7-inch HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor announced for Rs. 11999
Xolo has announced the Q900T, the latest smartphone in the Q CORE series and the successor of the Xolo Q900. It has a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display at 312 ppi with 178-degree wide viewing angle and a 2.5 D Edge-to-edge curved glass on the front, similar to Xolo X1000 that was released last year and the rear panel too looks similar to X1000. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor that is clear from ‘T’ in the model number of the phone. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), similar to most of the Xolo phones. Windows Phone 8.1 File Manager app teased, may come this month
File management is one of the most underrated features of a mobile operating system. For any platform to be truly independent, a file manager that allows local storage and management of any kind of file, is a necessity and with Windows Phone 8.1, this is finally happening. After moving to WinRT APIs for its latest mobile release, Microsoft has finally added the ability to download or upload files on the phone’s browser or through various apps, using the file picker. The file picker naturally necessitates a file manager, which will be released as a standalone app by Microsoft, as revealed and teased on a Reddit AMA, by the company’s Windows Phone champion, Joe Belfiore. The app is almost ready and is reportedly set to release this month.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.4 KitKat update starts rolling out in India
Samsung started rolling out the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the Galaxy Note 2 last week France. The update is now rolling out for the Note 2 users in India. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 got the KitKat update in January and the Galaxy S4 got the update in February. The Galaxy Note 2 got Android 4.1.2 update back in December 2012 and got the Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update directly, skipping Android 4.2, back in November last year. BLU Products has announced the Blu Life Pure XL, the company’s latest flagship smartphone. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS display from JDI with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by a 2.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS with custom skin on top. Google releases Docs and Sheets apps for Android and iOS
Google has launched Docs and Sheets apps for Android and iOS. These standalone apps will enable users to edit, create, and view files both on and offline. In addition, the company said that its will soon launch Slides, an app for editing PowerPoint-style presentations.
