Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.1.2 OTA update now rolling out in India

Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the Galaxy Note 2 users in India. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was launched in India back in September with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out of the box, but got the Multi-Window or Multiscreen feature in a OTA update later.

The new Android 4.1.2 update brings several features including customizable Notification Panel, new Notification Toggles, Option to disable  Multi Window, option to disable Brightness Slider from the notification bar, new keyboard with gesture typing like Android 4.2, new Emotional INK lockscreen effect, Easy mode on S Planner, new S Note widget, group cast app and Stability and usability improvements. Hope Samsung rolls out Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy S3 users in India soon, since it would bring Multi-Window and new Camera features.

The Android 4.1.2 OTA (Over the Air) update for the Note 2 is about 262 MB. You can check for the update manually from the Settings, About, Software update.
