HTCdev bootloader unlocking tool updated to support phones launched after September 2011

HTC has announced that the latest HTC devices launched after September 2011 are now unlockable with the updated bootloader unlocking tool. They announced that they would offer an option to unlock the boot loader and launched the unlocking tool earlier this August starting with the HTC Sensation and have added more devices to the list since then. They also launched the HTCdev site with OpenSense S3D and Pen SDK along with the web tool for unlocking the boot loaders. Samsung Galaxy Note shipments exceed 1 million

Samsung has announced that they have shipped over 1 million units of the Galaxy Note globally since the launch in October this year, after the announcement on September in IFA. They have also said that the shipments are strong in the European countries such as France, Germany and are increasing steadily in Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Note remains one of the top favorite phones among people. LG PRADA 3.0 now available in Korea, hitting Europe in January


LG unveiled the PRADA 3.0, their 3rd generation PRADA phone  in collaboration with LG earlier this month. The PRADA 3.0 is also the first PRADA phone to run on Android. The phone is now available for Korean customers. It features 4.3 inch  (800 x 480 pixels) NOVA Plus display with 800-nit brightness. It is powered by 1.0 GHz Dual core processor with Dual Channel architecture and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) that is up-gradable to Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich. LG to roll out Android Ice Cream Sandwich update starting Q2 2012


LG has announced on their Official Facebook page that they would start rolling the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update starting Q2 2012. They already confirmed the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the LG Optimus 2x, Optimus Black, Optimus 3D and Optimus LTE devices last month. Dropbox for Android v2.0 update brings ICS support, Bulk media upload and more

Dropbox for Android has been be updated to v2.0 in the Android Market with support for Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) devices and also brings new features such as Bulk video and image upload, quick offline access to files, new interface and more. Samsung has announced the GALAXY Y DUOS and GALAXY Y Pro DUOS. These are the Dual SIM versions of the GALAXY Y and the  GALAXY Y Pro Android phones that was launched recently and are the are aimed at Younger generation. The Samsung GALAXY Y DUOS 3.14-inch touch screen display and has polished metallic casing. It is 11.98mm thin and weighs 109 g.
