ARCHOS 80/101 G9 Android Ice Cream Sandwich update now rolling out


ARCHOS has announced that they are rolling out the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4 update for the G9 series of tablets, ARCHOS 80 G9 and 101 G9 that was announced last June. The ICS update would offer faster web browsing, easy multitasking, rich notifications, customizable home screens, resizable widgets, and enhanced social media integration. In addition, Ice Cream Sandwich also comes with improved text input and spell checking, a dynamic voice input engine, enhanced imaging capabilities and a redesigned Gallery app with photo editor. Micromax A73, new Dual SIM Android phone branded as Superfone Buzz is now available in India from online retailer LetsBuy. Samsung Galaxy S2 Android Ice Cream Sandwich update coming on March 15, says Samsung Israel


Samsung Israel has confirmed on their Facebook page that the Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update would be available on March 15th. This update would be available for unlocked and carrier-branded handsets in Israel. Samsung confirmed the ICS update for Galaxy S2 last November. They announced last December that the Galaxy devices would receive the Android 4.0 update in Q1 2012.
