ARCHOS announces Child Pad with 7-inch display and Android 4.0 at $129

ARCHOS7 has announced a new Android tablet for children, called the Child Pad. It has 7-inch display, powered by 1GHz processor and runs on 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It comes with 1GB RAM and has Kid friendly features such as Kids App Store powered by AppsLib which has 10,000 apps in 14-friendly categories including games, entertainment, communication, multimedia, books, comics, sports and more. Asus Transformer Prime launched in India for Rs. 49,999


Asus has finally launched the Eee Pad Transformer Prime in India. Asus announced the tablet last November. It has 10.1-inch LED backlit display that offers 178-degree viewing angle and has a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) (upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich). Sony Xperia NXT family hands-on

Sony announced two new Xperia NXT smartphones at MWC a couple of days ago and today we had a chance to go hands-on with the new devices, the Xperia P and Xperia U, alongside the already announced Xperia S. Read on for our hands-on impressions.

With the new Xperia NXT family, Sony has introduced a new design language that looks stunning. While the new Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U were developed under Sony Ericsson, the far reaching influence of Sony are clear. The translucent bar near the bottom of the phones for example reminds me of a couple of their Bravia TV models with ‘floating’ frame construction. Read on for our hands-on impressions.
