Gameloft has released a trailer for their upcoming Iron Man 3 game for iPhone, iPad and Android. The Iron Man 2 game for iPhone and iPad was released back in 2010. Iron Man 3, the third movie in the Iron Man franchise, based on the Mavel’s comic book character is releasing in several countries including India on April 26th. In this game you play as the billionaire Tony Stark / Iron Man who fights the AIM around the world to prevent their dark schemes from succeeding.

Google Play Movies goes live in India , rent and buy movies from Rs.80

Close on the heels  of the official launch of the Nexus 7 tablet in India, Google is now rolling out Movies on the Google Play store in India. India seems to be letting a lot of love from Google off late. The Book store went live few days back and now we have the Movie store.  Apple did get a head start in India by rolling out the iTunes store late last year.

You might have seen the Sony Xperia Z in the ads recently, and wondered why the purple one looks so unlike reality? Well, it’s rendered in CG and hence all you see are just fake reflections and colours. If you had read our Xperia Z review, you would know why we liked the waterproof aspect of this phone. We already had done a photo gallery too, but alas it was the white version. So, to show you the brilliant purple Xperia Z in its full “real” glory, we decided to take it out and give it a good look in front of our cameras. Sony has started taking pre-orders for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z  (SGP321GB) 16GB LTE version. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a 10.1-inch HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz asynchronous quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Google shipping Nexus 7 India orders from Singapore

Datawind, the company behind the low-cost Aakash tablets launched 4 new 7-inch tablets including the UbiSlate 7C+ back in September 2012. Now the new UbiSlate 7C+ Edge is on sale exclusively from online retailer Snapdeal.com. The UbiSlate 7C+ has a SIM card slot with GPRS support, but the new UbiSlate 7C+ Edge comes with EDGE support. Other features are similar including a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Sony Xperia E is now available from online retailer Infibeam in India. Both the Xperia E and the Xperia E dual went on pre-order online couple of weeks back. These were announced back in December 2012. The Xperia E dual went on sale in India recently, which we unboxed last week. It comes with a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Will Google start selling the Nexus 4 in India soon ?

In an interesting development , Google has listed the Nexus 7 up for sale on the Google Play India store just minutes ago.  This is the first time Google is directly selling a device in India to a customer through its Play store. This might be  a sign of things to come. The Nexus 4 is also hidden on the store but the page says that ” it is not available in your country ” . There has been a lot of speculation about the Nexus 4 launching in India ever since Google started selling one of the most affordable Android 4.2 powered in the US market.

Google Play Store India now sells the 16 GB Nexus 7 for a price of Rs. 15,999

It has been a while since we saw the Google Nexus 7 *officially* launch in India for Rs. 19,999/- but now, out of the blue, we have got the devices page on the Indian Google Play Store selling the Nexus 7 directly for Rs. 15,999 for the 16 GB version. Earlier, it was Croma, the Tata retailer that was selling it, but looks like we are finally seeing Google directly selling the device.
