Huawei has officially launched the Ascend G510 and the Ascend Y300 Android smartphones in India. Both these smartphones went on sale online last week. The Huawei Ascend G510 has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The Huawei Ascend Y300 has a 4.0-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor. Huawei Ascend Y300 and the Huawei Ascend G510 went on pre-order in India earlier this week. Both these phones are now available from online retailer Flipkart. The Ascend Y300 has a 4.0-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor. The Ascend G510 has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor. Both these phones run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), have a 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED Flash and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera.
